Tuesday, May 14 vs. Reading Fightin Phils: Malmö Oat Milkers Night

The 121st team of Minor League Baseball takes the field in a game like no other this season. This one will be unforgettable.

Wednesday, May 15 vs. Reading Fightin Phils: Reading Night with Wine & K-9s

The Flying Squirrels recognize students throughout Central Virginia who successfully completed the Go Nuts for Reading Program presented by M&T Bank.

  • Pregame Reading Night parade begins at 5:15 p.m. Students must be in line by 5:45 p.m. to participate.
  • Enjoy $5 glasses of wine and $6 wine slushies from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Wine Cart located on the main concourse across from Gilbane Fan Services.
  • Dogs admitted for FREE in sections 101-103, 201-203 and first base General Admission. Please request a dog-friendly section if accompanied by a pet.

Thursday, May 16 vs. Reading Fightin Phils: In-Your-Face Fireworks and Hanover Community Night

5:05 p.m. | Gates 4:30 p.m. | Tickets

The Flying Squirrels and organizations throughout Hanover County come together to recognize their community.

  • The Flying Squirrels will wear specialty on-field Hanover tomato jerseys, honoring the robust tomato industry in Central Virginia.
  • Hanover tomato jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Mechanicsville Rotary. Fans can bid on jerseys here.
  • Catch the debut of the Batter Up Brass Band before the game on the concourse.
  • In-Your-Face Fireworks from up close and inside the fences to follow the game.
  • Hanover Community Night is presented by Mechanicsville Rotary.

This night will now include a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. to serve as the make-up for Tuesday's rainout. One ticket gets you in for both games. If you have any questions, please email us. The second game will begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.

Friday, May 17 vs. Reading Fightin Phils: RVA Day with Friday Happy Hour

The Flying Squirrels are celebrating organizations of faith with a night of FUNN and fireworks.

  • Listen to the voices of Mechanicsville Christian Center pregame on the stage.
  • Flying Squirrels players will speak about their faith before the game.
  • In-Your-Face fireworks from up close and inside the fences to follow the game.
  • Faith Night is presented by YMCA

Sunday, May 19 vs. Reading Fightin Phils: Disability Inclusion Day and Rally Towel Giveaway

1:35 p.m. | Gates 12:30 p.m. | Tickets

The Flying Squirrels are joining hands with the Friendship Circle of VA to celebrate inclusion.

  • Members of the Squirrel Tails Kids Club presented by Atlantic Union Bank get in FREE! The Squirrel Tails Kids Club is free to join for children ages 14 and under and includes a General Admission ticket voucher to all Sunday home games. Click here to register.
  • The first 1,000 fans of all ages will go home with an Inclusion Day rally towel.
  • Bring your glove and play catch on the field from 12:45-1:05 p.m.
  • Kids ages 14 and under can run the bases following the game presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Kids can line up to run the bases outside the Squirrels Nest Team Store at the end of the first-base side of the main concourse. Parents and guardians are allowed to accompany their children onto the field and meet them as they cross home plate.
  • Disability Inclusion Day and the rally towel giveaway are presented by Friendship Circle of Virginia.
